RESERVOIR BIRDS WO'S T-SHIRT
The Mr Vintage NZ Artist Series is a range of premium designs. We’ve collaborated with our favourite NZ Artists to showcase their works on the canvas of the t-shirt. The NZ Artist Series designs are strictly limited edition, with only 50 of each t-shirt produced. Each garment is individually numbered, carrying the artists’ signature. A lot of love went in to making this NZ Artist Series Range. There are no returns on these items, unless faulty or damaged.
Brad Novak's 'Reservoir Birds':
Inspired by the cult 90’s movie ‘Reservoir Dogs’, Novak has grounded the famous scene within Aotearoa in his typically unique way by using the Kiwi, Whio (Blue Duck), Shag, Tui, Huia, and Albatross.
"There is a deeper and unique meaning behind this pop art image... many of the birds of NZ are under threat (and some are extinct) and that is something they have in common, much like their matching black and white suits".
