How do I order?

Easy-Peasy; once you’ve selected the particular item that has caught your fancy, simply click "ADD TO CART".

If you’re not done, and you want to buy more than one item, click "CONTINUE SHOPPING" and you will be able to continue to browse our fine store. When you’re ready to complete your purchase, click “CHECKOUT".

Once at the checkout you’ll be asked to confirm your postal address and choose your preferred payment option (bank deposit/cheque/credit card/Pago).

When you have completed your way through the checkout, we will send you an email confirming the status of your order. We’ll keep you in the loop as much as we can, so keep an eye on your email, as we’ll notify you of any status changes via email. If you have any questions please don't hesitate to get in contact with us, we’re more than happy to help you out.

How can I pay?

Pretty much any way you can think of (except muskets and blankets); bank transfer/deposit, cheque, credit card (we accept all major credit cards aside from Amex and Diners), or Pago. It's safe as too, check it out here to find out just how safe.

All credit card transactions are processed by DPS (Direct Payment Solutions) in a secure payment gateway - so it’s as safe as can be.

Can I return my purchase?

We’ve got a great high-quality product, and we believe in it so much so that we offer an amazing 365 Day money back guarantee on all our gear - We really don’t mind why you don’t want it, just so long as you’re happy.

To return it, just fill in the return exchange form that accompanies your order (on the back of the invoice), and send it to:

Mr Vintage,
PO Box 137263,
Parnell, 1051,
Auckland

Refunds are issued to the original form of payment within 7 to 14 business days of receiving your return. If your tee is defective, we’ll of course pay for any extra shipping costs incurred.

A more detailed explanation of our returns policy is included with the order, together with the return exchange form.

Licensed products - what does that mean?

Here at MrVintage.co.nz we only sell authentic licensed merchandise; we’re not one of those market stalls that rip off everyone else’s designs, we’re legitimate.

That means that for every item we purchase, a small royalty fee has gone to whoever owns the rights’ to that character, logo, or movie etc.

Do you ship Internationally?

Absolutely! Check out our Shipping page for further details.

Do you have a mailing list?

We sure do! There are heaps of benefits to joining the mailing list; special offers and discount codes, input in to our design process, insight in to our exciting lives, and you’ll be the first to hear about our newest designs.

Plus, we only send emails when there’s something important enough to tell, so there are no rubbish emails. See the top of page to join.

Are there any Mr Vintage stores I can visit?

I'm glad you asked that, we have a fully-fledged retail shop in Grey Lynn: 302 Great North Rd, Grey Lynn, Auckland. You can purchase the tees here, and it's a good oppurtunity to try them on etc. Here's how to find us.

Do you have any retailers?

Yeah we sure do. We’ve hand-picked a number of retailers throughout the country to stock our tees. At the moment there’s really only a select few – but hopefully there’s something near you. Here’s our list of current retailers.

What does pre-shrunk actually mean?

Well, not a whole lot to be totally honest. The ‘experts’ say that, with a pre-shrunk shirt, you should still allow for 2% – 5% shrinkage. It’s our opinion that there isn’t too much shrinkage difference in a shirt that says it’s pre-shrunk to one that doesn’t. Our Kiwiana range are ‘pre-shrunk’, and providing they aren’t tumble-dried, there should only be minimal shrinkage.

However, it's best to just always hang-dry your tees, that’ll ensure minimal shrinkage – its best practise if you’re serious about your tees, and I’m pretty sure the dryer makes the print fade faster too.

What is a distressed print?

We’ve got heaps of tees on the site that are designed in this fashion. The ‘distressed’ print refers to the screen printing style used to make the print look more ‘vintage’. They work by removing the dye in the garment, and as a result leave a much softer texture, and the design often looks faded and more ‘vintage’. While most people get the idea of the distressed print, we do get some people complaining that their t-shirt is faulty – when in fact this effect is completely intentional.
